Son Tra Essentials
Son Tra Peninsula serves as a natural barrier for Da Nang, featuring the 693-meter Monkey Mountain and the 67-meter Lady Buddha statue at Linh Ung Pagoda. The area is a protected nature reserve home to the endangered red-shanked douc langur. Connecting the peninsula to the city are architectural landmarks like the Dragon Bridge, which performs fire-breathing shows, and the Han River Bridge, Vietnam's first swing bridge. The nearby Museum of Cham Sculpture preserves the world's largest collection of artifacts from the ancient Champa Kingdom.
Dragon Bridge
A 666-meter-long bridge designed in the shape of a golden dragon. It features a lighting system of 2,500 LEDs and performs a fire and water breathing show every Saturday and Sunday at 9:00 PM.
Monkey Mountain
A coastal peak reaching 693 meters, serving as a nature reserve for the rare red-shanked douc langur. The mountain features diverse tropical flora and former military radar stations.
Lady Buddha
