Peaks of the Accursed Mountains

The Accursed Mountains, or Prokletije, form the southernmost part of the Dinaric Alps along the border of Albania and Montenegro. This selection features Jezercë, the range's highest summit at 2,694 meters, alongside the Kolata massif, which contains Montenegro's highest points. The area is characterized by dramatic limestone karst formations, deep glacial valleys, and the high-altitude Liqenjtë e Jezercës lakes. These peaks define the rugged landscape of the Valbona Valley and surrounding national parks.
