The Black Eagle Palace is a representative secession-style architectural monument constructed between 1907 and 1908. Designed by architects Marcell Komor and Dezső Jakab, the complex originally functioned as a multi-purpose facility housing a casino, a hotel with 75 rooms, offices, a ballroom, shops, and a restaurant.
The building remains a significant urban landmark and is open to the public as an active social hub. It currently accommodates various cafes, restaurants, clubs, and offices and is designated as a cultural heritage site.
