Catedral Nacional

This patriarchal cathedral of the Romanian Orthodox Church is the tallest and largest Eastern Orthodox church building by volume and surface area in the world. The structure reaches a height of 120 meters and covers an area of 13,668.5 square meters, featuring an architectural synthesis of Byzantine Revival, traditional Romanian, and contemporary styles.

The interior houses the largest collection of church mosaics globally. Another significant feature is the world's largest free-swinging church bell. The massive interior is designed to accommodate thousands of worshipers within a single space.

Following its official opening in October 2025, the cathedral has become a prominent national landmark. The building holds a dominant position in the skyline.
