Angra dos Reis Essentials

Angra dos Reis comprises 365 islands and over 2,000 beaches along Brazil's Costa Verde. This selection highlights the historic 18th-century colonial architecture of the city center, including the Igreja Matriz and Convento do Carmo. On Ilha Grande, the list covers the white sands of Lopes Mendes, the snorkeling lagoons of Lagoa Azul and Lagoa Verde, and the site of the former Candido Mendes prison at Praia de Dois Rios.
