Caves and Viewpoints of Apulia

This collection spans the karst landscapes and rugged Adriatic coastline of Apulia. Key highlights include the Grotte di Castellana, a 3-kilometer underground system reaching depths of 122 meters, and the Grotta della Poesia, a natural limestone pool at Roca Vecchia. Along the cliffs of Polignano a Mare, numerous viewpoints like Balconata Lama Monachile overlook the Roman-era bridge and sea caves carved into the limestone. Further south, Grotta Zinzulusa preserves unique subterranean biodiversity and prehistoric artifacts near the town of Castro.
