Iconic Lighthouses

Cape Byron Lighthouse

Situated at Australia's most easterly point, this Victorian-era structure was completed in 1901. It features a powerful light with a range of 27 nautical miles and houses a maritime museum in the former keepers' quarters.

Low Head Lighthouse

Established in 1833 as Australia's third light station, the current 1888 brick tower stands at the mouth of the Tamar River in Tasmania. It is home to a rare, operational Type G diaphone foghorn.

Cape Leveque Lighthouse

Located on the tip of the Dampier Peninsula, this white tower stands against distinctive red pindan cliffs. It marks the northern entrance to King Sound and has guided vessels through the Kimberley's tides since 1911.
