Bardejov Essentials

Bardejov is a remarkably preserved medieval town and UNESCO World Heritage site. The central Radničné námestie is framed by 46 Gothic and Renaissance burgher houses and anchored by the 15th-century Basilica of St. Giles. Beyond the town walls, the Jewish Suburbium features a conserved 18th-century synagogue and ritual baths. The nearby Bardejovské Kúpele offers a historic spa experience and an open-air museum of folk architecture, while the ruins of Zborov Castle overlook the surrounding landscape.
