Spectacular Mountain Peaks
The Julian Alps within Triglav National Park feature some of Slovenia's most prominent limestone massifs. This collection centers on Mount Triglav, the country's highest point at 2,863 meters, and extends to surrounding summits like Kanjavec and Tosc. These peaks characterize the high-altitude karst landscape of the Upper Carniola region, offering established routes through glacial valleys and ridges. A Triglav
Triglav, with an elevation of 2,863.65 metres, is the highest mountain in Slovenia and the highest peak of the Julian Alps.
B Viševnik
A 2,132-meter mountain in the Triglav mountain chain. It is located within the national park and is frequently accessed from the Pokljuka plateau.
C Vogel
A 1,922-meter peak overlooking Lake Bohinj. It is a central point of the Vogel ski resort area and provides views across the southern Julian Alps.
D Kanjavec
Kanjavec is a 2,569-metre mountain in the center of Triglav National Park.
E Mišelj vrh
A 2,350-meter mountain situated within the Triglav mountain range in northwestern Slovenia.
F Tosc
Tosc, formerly also known as Tolstec, is a mountain of the central Julian Alps, located in Upper Carniola, western Slovenia.
G Orlova glava
A peak reaching 1,682 meters, located in the vicinity of the Vogel ski center and marked by a distinctive wooden eagle sculpture.
H Vrh nad Škrbino
A 2,054-meter summit in the southern Julian Alps, part of the ridge extending between Tolmin and Bohinj.
I Šmarjetna glava
A 2,358-meter peak located in the central Julian Alps, situated south of Mount Triglav.
J Vrh Hribaric
A 2,388-meter mountain located between the Seven Lakes Valley and the Dolič Pass in the heart of the Julian Alps.
