Lakes and Waterfalls of Chubut

Chubut's Andean region contains a complex network of glacial lakes and cascades within the UNESCO-listed Los Alerces National Park and the Futaleufú River system. This selection includes the expansive Futalaufquen Lake and the binational Vintter Lake, shared with Chile. These water bodies are surrounded by dense Patagonian cypress and coihue forests.
