Daegu Parks and Nature

Daegu’s natural landscape is defined by the Palgongsan mountain range to the north and the Apsan mountains to the south. This collection features the Daegu Arboretum, an ecological restoration project built on a former landfill, and Palgongsan Park, home to historic Buddhist temples and the Gatbawi Buddha. The list also includes riverside recreation at Yulha Sports Park and hiking opportunities at Daedeok Mountain, which provides panoramic views of the city's urban sprawl.

Daegu Arboretum

Ecological park built on a former sanitary landfill. It contains thematic gardens for cacti, medicinal herbs, and wildflowers, housing over 1,000 plant species.

Palgongsan Park

Large mountain park featuring the historic Donghwasa Temple and the Gatbawi stone Buddha. The area includes a cable car and numerous hiking trails through granite peaks.
