Death Valley National Park features some of the most dramatic geological transitions in North America. A landscape defined by arrowweed plants. Wind erosion has removed the surrounding soil, leaving the plants on mounds of sand that resemble bundles of harvested corn.

Devils Golf Course

An expansive salt pan where wind and rain have shaped rock salt into a field of jagged, crystalline spires. The formations are composed of halite and are continuously reshaped by rare desert rainfall.

Father Crowley Vistapoint

A viewpoint overlooking the volcanic layers of Rainbow Canyon. It is a well-known location for observing military aircraft conducting low-altitude flight training through the narrow gorge, nicknamed Star Wars Canyon.
