Djursland’s landscape is defined by its historic estates, ranging from the 14th-century ruins of Kalø Castle in Mols Bjerge National Park to the well-preserved Renaissance architecture of Rosenholm, Denmark's oldest family-owned castle. The collection includes Gammel Estrup, which functions as a national manor museum, and Sostrup Castle, known for its moated grounds.
