Serene Lakes and Ponds

This collection features high-altitude glacial lakes and ponds within the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, a UNESCO World Heritage site in Andorra. The selection includes Estany de l'Illa, one of the country's largest water bodies, and Estany de la Nou, notable for its warmer groundwater-fed temperatures. These sites are accessible via mountain hiking trails and showcase the region's diverse alpine hydrology, from the hydroelectric dam at Engolasters to remote circular ponds like Estany Rodó.
