Foz do Iguaçu's Absolute Essentials

Foz do Iguaçu is home to the Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage site comprising 275 individual drops, including the powerful Devil’s Throat. The region features the Itaipu Dam, one of the world's largest hydroelectric power plants on the Paraná River. Nearby, the Parque das Aves provides a sanctuary for over 140 bird species from the Atlantic Forest. Cultural landmarks include the Buddhist Temple, housing over 120 statues, and the Three Borders Landmark, where the Iguaçu and Paraná rivers converge at the junction of Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay.
