A Our Lady of the Mountain Church
Pilgrimage site. Best time for a visit is 14th to 15th of August during the most important religious festival of Madeira.

The church has beautifully decorated walls and ceiling. You can also climb the tower and admire the wonderful views.
C Santa Clara Church and Monastery
The chapel is characteristic for its traditional tiles and an impressive wooden ceiling.
