Viewpoints and Towers

The Hel Peninsula's strategic location has left a legacy of elevated structures designed for maritime navigation and coastal defense. This list features the 41.5-meter active brick lighthouse and the deactivated steel lattice tower at Góra Szwedów. It also includes significant military architecture, such as the nine-story fire control tower of the Schleswig-Holstein battery and Cold War-era observation posts used by Permanent Artillery Batteries to monitor the Baltic Sea.
