Markazi Province features a diverse range of geological formations, from the high-salinity Meyghan Wetland, a critical habitat for migratory Siberian cranes, to the intricate crystalline structures of Nakhjir Cave. The region's topography includes several seasonal cascades, such as the moss-covered Ghatre Baran Waterfall near Tafresh and the Gisoo and Dargaz waterfalls situated within the mountainous limestone landscapes near Naraq and Delijan.
