This collection highlights the cultural landscape of Western Iceland, from the reconstructed turf home of Erik the Red at Eiríksstaðir to the regional history preserved in Stykkishólmur’s Norwegian House. Visitors can explore the Icelandic Sagas at the Settlement Centre in Borgarnes or witness traditional hákarl production at the Bjarnarhöfn Shark Museum.
