This collection highlights the cultural landscape of Western Iceland, from the reconstructed turf home of Erik the Red at Eiríksstaðir to the regional history preserved in Stykkishólmur’s Norwegian House. Eriksstadir

Eiríksstaðir is the former homestead of Eiríkr Þorvaldsson, known as Erik the Red, in Haukadalur in the Dalasýsla region of Iceland.
