Kamakura Parks and Gardens

Kamakura’s landscape features a blend of historical hilltop parks and quiet residential green spaces. Genjiyama Park offers hiking trails that connect major temples and features a bronze statue of shogun Minamoto no Yoritomo. The coastal neighborhoods of Shichirigahama and Koshigoe contain numerous community parks often named after local wildlife, providing small resting spots between the hills and the sea.
