Kenmare Municipal District Essentials
This region spans the Iveragh and Dingle Peninsulas, encompassing the Ring of Kerry and the Wild Atlantic Way. Key sites include the 300-meter-high Kerry Cliffs and the glacial mountain pass at Moll's Gap. Historical landmarks range from the Bronze Age Kenmare Stone Circle to the reconstructed 19th-century Kerry Bog Village and the Blasket Centre, which preserves the heritage of the Great Blasket Island. Coastal features include the five-kilometer sand spit at Inch Beach and the winding concrete descent of Dunquin Pier.
Kerry Cliffs Experience

Kenmare Stone Circle
A Bronze Age ritual site consisting of 15 stones arranged in an ellipse with a central boulder tomb. It is one of the largest stone circles in Southwest Ireland.
