Patagonia Wilderness Camps

This collection features strategic backcountry campsites and shelters located within Los Glaciares National Park and the surrounding wilderness. These sites serve as essential staging points for the Huemul Circuit, the Continental Ice Field trek, and routes near El Chaltén. They provide designated tent areas and basic protection near landmarks like the Upsala Glacier, the Southern Patagonian Ice Field, and the granite peaks of the Fitz Roy range.

Laguna Capri

Free campsite located within a beech forest, offering direct views of Mount Fitz Roy and access to the Laguna de los Tres trail.

Toro

Designated camping area in the Río Túnel valley, serving as a primary overnight stop on the Huemul Circuit trek.

Refugio Upsala
