Parks & Nature

Lagoa Santa's landscape is defined by its central karst lagoon and a network of public plazas that honor the city's paleontological heritage. This collection highlights the primary lake where Danish naturalist Peter Wilhelm Lund conducted pioneering 19th-century research, alongside the Reserva Ecológica Cabeça de Boi. The urban green spaces, including Praça Doutor Lund and Praça da Matriz, serve as community hubs featuring historic monuments and shaded paths near the water's edge.
