Lolland’s landscape is defined by its significant religious architecture, ranging from the 15th-century Gothic Maribo Cathedral to smaller medieval parish churches. The collection features diverse styles, including the late Romanesque Radsted Kirke, dating back to 1200, and the 14th-century Østofte Church. These sites showcase regional history through unique architectural elements, such as the towerless structure of Bursø Kirke and the 20th-century Neo-Romanesque red brickwork of Nøbbet Kirke.
