Makarska Beaches & Coastline

Makarska's coastline is defined by the Biokovo mountain range meeting the Adriatic Sea, creating a series of natural pebble beaches and rocky coves. This selection includes the secluded Nugal beach, accessible via forest trails, and the 19th-century St. Peter Lighthouse peninsula. The northern Cvitačka area offers several designated clothing-optional zones (FKK) sheltered by pine forests, while Ramova provides expansive pebble shores with clear, shallow waters.

Plaža Ramova

Pebble beach located at the northern edge of Makarska, featuring natural shade from a dense pine forest and crystal-clear water suitable for snorkeling.

Nugal

A secluded clothing-optional beach situated at the base of 30-meter high cliffs. It is accessible only by boat or a 30-minute walk through the Osejava forest park.

St. Peter Lighthouse

Constructed in 1884 on a stone peninsula, this site features rocky plateaus used for sunbathing and swimming, with views of the Makarska harbor and islands.

Cvitačka FKK

A series of small, interconnected pebble coves located north of the town center, designated for clothing-optional use and bordered by Mediterranean vegetation.

FKK

A clothing-optional pebble beach situated between the Ramova and Cvitačka areas, offering seclusion and natural shade from the surrounding pine trees.

Jadran

A narrow pebble beach located near the southern exit of Makarska, characterized by calm waters and proximity to the coastal walking path.
