Marvão Essentials

Perched on a granite crag 862 meters high, Marvão is a fortified medieval village within the São Mamede Natural Park. This selection covers the 13th-century castle and the village's religious heritage, including the Gothic Igreja de Santiago and the former Santa Maria Church.
