Općina Medulin Essentials

Općina Medulin occupies the southernmost tip of the Istrian peninsula, centered around the Cape Kamenjak nature reserve. The area features over 30 kilometers of rugged coastline, including the rare sandy Bijeca Beach and the limestone cliffs of the Premantura peninsula. Historical sites range from the Austro-Hungarian Fort Turtian to Cretaceous-era dinosaur tracks. Local gastronomy is highlighted by traditional seafood at Konoba Batelina, while the southern cape hosts the Safari Bar, constructed entirely from natural materials.
