Milford Sound Essentials

Milford Sound, or Piopiotahi, is a glaciated fjord within Fiordland National Park and a UNESCO World Heritage site. This collection features the 1,692-meter Mitre Peak and permanent waterfalls like the 162-meter Bowen Falls and 155-meter Stirling Falls. The area is home to New Zealand fur seals and the Milford Discovery Centre, which houses the country's only floating underwater observatory.
