Pudong Essentials

Pudong represents Shanghai’s rapid modernization, centered on the Lujiazui financial district. This area features a trio of supertall skyscrapers—the 632-meter Shanghai Tower, the Shanghai World Financial Center, and the Jin Mao Tower—alongside the distinct spheres of the Oriental Pearl Tower. Cultural landmarks include the China Art Museum, housed in the former 2010 Expo pavilion, and the Jean Nouvel-designed Museum of Art Pudong. The district is connected to the airport via the high-speed Maglev train and offers extensive waterfront views along the Huangpu River.
