Art & Museums in Puebla

Puebla’s cultural landscape spans centuries, from the pre-Hispanic and colonial collections at the Amparo Museum to the 16th-century frescoes within the Casa del Deán. The city’s history is preserved in the former home of the Serdán brothers, where the Mexican Revolution began, and the 19th-century Uriarte Talavera workshop. Modern additions include the International Museum of the Baroque, designed by Toyo Ito, and the National Museum of Mexican Railways, which showcases vintage locomotives in a historic station.
