Rajasthan’s architectural legacy is defined by massive fortifications and spiritual landmarks. This collection includes UNESCO World Heritage hill forts like the desert-based Jaisalmer Fort and the wildlife-surrounded Ranthambore Fort. Jodhpur’s Mehrangarh rises 122 meters above the plains, showcasing intricate carvings and military might, while Bharatpur’s Lohagarh Fort stands as an impregnable structure built by Jat rulers. Complementing these citadels is the Ajmer Sharif Dargah, one of India’s most significant Sufi shrines, dedicated to the mystic Khawaja Moinuddin Chishti.
