Beautiful Beaches
Saint-Tropez features a coastline ranging from historic urban coves to secluded natural stretches. This selection includes the centrally located Plage de la Ponche and the expansive sands of Plage des Canoubiers, which offer accessible facilities. Further along the peninsula, Salins Beach provides a quiet setting with onsite dining, while Plage de la Moutte and Batterie du Capon serve as designated nudist areas. These beaches vary in character, from family-oriented sandy shores to rocky, unspoilt landscapes found at the edge of the peninsula.
Plage de la Ponche
Small sandy stretch located in the historic fishing quarter, bordered by the Tour du Portalet and the old town's stone buildings.
Salins Beach
Tranquil beach where the natural landscape is still unspoilt by the hoards of tourists. There's a nice restaurant here, too.
Plage de la Bouillabaisse
Sandy beach at the entrance of the town, providing views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez toward the Maures mountains.
Plage des Canoubiers
Long sandy beach with accessible facilities, located four kilometers from the town center and sheltered from the Mistral wind.
Plage de la Moutte
Secluded beach at the tip of the peninsula, accessible via a walking path and known as a designated nudist area.
Batterie du Capon
Nudist beach situated below the historic military site, characterized by a wild, rocky landscape and clear waters.
Plage des Canoubiers
Accessible sandy shore with shallow waters and views of the surrounding villas, situated along the Baie des Canoubiers.
