Panoramic Peaks & Viewpoints

This selection of alpine summits and lookouts spans the border between the French Savoie and Italian Piedmont. It includes Rocciamelone, one of the highest peaks in the region at 3,538 meters, known for its mountaintop chapel and statue. The list features diverse geological formations, from the limestone ridges of the Chartreuse Massif and the Chaîne de l'Épine to the high-altitude terrain of the Vanoise and Aravis ranges, providing vantage points over Lake Aiguebelette and the Gorges du Frou.
