Siargao Essentials

Siargao features diverse geological formations, from the hollow tube waves of Cloud 9 to the limestone cave pools of Tayangban. Magpupungko Tidal Lagoons

Natural rock pools exposed during low tide. These turquoise basins are separated from the Pacific Ocean by a reef barrier and include limestone formations suitable for cliff jumping.

Sugba Lagoon Ticketing

The official terminal for boat rentals and environmental fees required to reach Sugba Lagoon. This port is the entry point to the massive mangrove forests of Del Carmen.

River jumping

A natural attraction on the Maasin River featuring a distinctive bent coconut tree. It serves as a platform for a rope swing into the freshwater river below.

Tayangban Cave Pool

A limestone cave system featuring chest-deep water and stalactites. A guided 15-minute trek through the cavern leads to an open-air natural swimming pool and canyon.

Alegria beach

A remote white-sand beach on the northern coast characterized by calm, shallow waters and a lack of strong currents, making it suitable for swimming.

General Luna Pier

The main departure point for outrigger boats traveling to Guyam, Daku, and Naked Island. It provides views of the local fishing fleet and the surrounding reef.

Tak Tak Falls

The island's only waterfall, located in the northern town of Santa Monica. The water drops roughly 15 meters into a basin used for swimming.

Pacifico beach

A long stretch of white sand on the northeastern coast. It is a major surf destination known for its powerful reef breaks and quieter atmosphere compared to the southern coast.
