Smederevo served as the final capital of the medieval Serbian Despotate before the Ottoman conquest. This list centers on the 15th-century Smederevo Fortress, one of Europe's largest flatland fortifications, including its inner court (Mali grad) and outer defensive walls (Veliki grad).
