Croatian Heritage Sites

This collection highlights seven heritage sites in Split-Dalmatia County, ranging from Diocletian's Palace — a late 3rd‑century Roman imperial residence with surviving fortifications and layered Romanesque–Baroque fabric — to the Stari Grad Plain, an ancient agricultural grid preserved since Greek colonization. It also includes medieval Trogir with Romanesque and Renaissance buildings, Baroque ecclesiastical architecture in Makarska, and several regional heritage monuments and towers.
