Majestic Glaciers of Tajikistan

Tajikistan's high-altitude terrain hosts some of the most significant cryospheric features on Earth. The Pamir and Gissar-Alay ranges contain massive ice systems, including the Fedchenko Glacier, which spans 77 kilometers as the longest glacier outside the polar regions. These frozen reservoirs feed major Central Asian rivers and offer a glimpse into the geological forces of the Academy of Sciences Range.
