Island Viewpoints and Peaks

Terceira Island’s landscape is defined by its volcanic heritage, featuring massive calderas and rugged coastal cliffs. This collection highlights the island's most significant vantage points, from the 1,021-meter summit of Serra de Santa Bárbara to the iconic patchwork pastures visible from Serra do Cume. These locations provide strategic views of the central plateau, the UNESCO-listed city of Angra do Heroísmo, and neighboring islands in the central group of the Azores.
