Toulon's Sacred Sites

Toulon Cathedral, also known as Sainte-Marie-Majeure, is a Catholic church located in Toulon, in the Var department of France.
B Église Saint-Louis
Completed in 1788, this neoclassical church features a Greek-cross floor plan and was designed by architect Sigaud. It served as a temple of reason during the French Revolution and was carefully restored after suffering damage in World War II.
Église Saint-François-de-Paule
A Baroque church built in 1744 for the Minim friars. Located near the harbor, it is known for its elegant curved facade and historical role as a parish church for the maritime community.
Chapelle de l'ancien hôpital Chalucet
A 17th-century chapel originally part of the city's historic naval hospital complex. It remains a preserved monument within the modern Chalucet cultural district.
