Historic Temples and Shrines

Zuiryū-ji

Zuiryū-ji is a Buddhist temple in Takaoka, Toyama Prefecture, Japan. The temple belongs to the Sōtō-school of Japanese Zen Buddhism.

大仏寺

Jodo sect temple housing the Takaoka Great Buddha, a 16-meter bronze statue of Amida Nyorai. Cast using local metalworking techniques, it is recognized as one of Japan's three great Buddha statues.

Hie Shrine
