Alpine Huts & Shelters

This collection features mountain refuges and traditional shelters across the Traunviertel region. It includes high-altitude Alpine Association (ÖAV) huts like the Adamekhütte at 2,196 meters and the Prielschutzhaus, which serve as essential bases for hikers in the Totes Gebirge and Höllengebirge ranges. Many locations, such as the Ebenseer Hochkogelhütte and Almtalerhaus, offer regional cuisine and outdoor seating, providing insight into local mountain culture and gastronomy.

Adamekhütte

Alpine Association (ÖAV) refuge situated at 2,196 meters at the foot of the Gosau Glacier. It features a non-smoking interior and shower facilities.

Almtalerhaus
