Тутуала

Tutuala Essentials

Tutuala sits at the easternmost tip of Timor-Leste within the Nino Konis Santana National Park. This remote region is defined by the sacred, uninhabited Jaco Island and the prehistoric Lene Hara cave, which contains rock art dating back over 30,000 years. The area includes Lake Ira Lalaro, the country's largest freshwater lake, and Portuguese colonial-era architecture at the hilltop Pousada. Valu Beach serves as the primary gateway for local boat transfers across the narrow channel to Jaco's protected wildlife reserve.
