Birżebbuġa Essentials
Birżebbuġa offers a dense concentration of historical and coastal sites on Malta's southern coast. The area is home to Għar Dalam Cave, containing evidence of the island's earliest inhabitants, and the Bronze Age settlement of Borġ in-Nadur. Military history is represented by the 17th-century Saint Lucian's Fortress and the British-built Fort Bengħisa. The locality also marks a pivotal modern moment at the Cold War Memorial. For recreation, Pretty Bay provides a sandy urban beach, while the Playmobil Fun Park offers an interactive experience adjacent to one of the brand's primary manufacturing plants.
Cave of Darkness
Għar Dalam is a 144 metre long phreatic tube and cave, or cul-de-sac, located in the outskirts of Birżebbuġa, Malta.
Torri San Luċjan
A massive polygonal fort built by the Order of St. John between 1610 and 1611 to defend Marsaxlokk Bay. It was later reinforced by the British and currently houses the Malta Aquaculture Research Centre.
Pretty Bay
The only sandy beach in the south. It has quite an urban feel to it, but that means a lot of facilities are available here.
Playmobil Fun Park
An interactive theme park located next to the Playmobil factory, featuring large-scale play sets, themed indoor areas, and an outdoor playground based on the iconic toy figures.
Borg in-Nadur
Borġ in-Nadur is an archaeological site located in open fields overlooking St George's Bay, near Birżebbuġa, Malta.
Ghar Hassan

Cold War Memorial
This monument commemorates the 1989 Malta Summit held in Marsaxlokk Bay between U.S. President George H.W. Bush and Soviet Leader Mikhail Gorbachev, an event that effectively signaled the end of the Cold War.
Church of St George
