Zurich’s green spaces range from the historic Lindenhof Hill, a former Roman fort offering Old Town views, to the architectural MFO-Park in Oerlikon with its unique vertical vine-covered structure. The lakeside features the statues of the Seepromenade and the river delta of Zürihorn. Specialized flora is found at the modern University Botanical Garden and the central Old Botanical Garden arboretum. Cultural highlights include the Chinese Garden, a gift from Kunming, and Rieterpark, the former estate where Richard Wagner once resided.
