A chedi stood here back in the time of Rama I, unfortunately, it collapsed due to erosion. The ruins of the temple were restored by his grandson, King Rama III. It houses a relic of Buddha (brought from Sri Lanka) and it is now surrounded by concrete walls to prevent the hill from eroding and collapsing again.
