Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens

Spanning 97 hectares on the eastern slopes of Mount Lofty, these gardens feature a diverse collection of cool-climate plants, including rhododendrons, magnolias, and camellias. The site includes several walking trails and a central lake.

Shaw & Smith Winery

Established in 1989 in Balhannah, this winery specializes in cool-climate varieties including Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Shiraz. The contemporary tasting room overlooks the estate's North-facing vineyards.

National Motor Museum

Located in the historic Birdwood Mill, this museum houses a collection of over 400 vintage, classic, and modern vehicles. Exhibits focus on Australia's motoring history, including the first car to cross the continent.

Big Rocking Horse

Standing 18 metres tall in Gumeracha, this steel-structured landmark is the world's largest rocking horse. Visitors can climb to three separate viewing platforms. The site includes an onsite wooden toy factory.
