Natural Wonders

This collection highlights the geological diversity of the Posets-Maladeta Natural Park in the central Pyrenees. It features the Aneto Glacier, the largest ice mass in the range, and the Forau de Aigualluts, a karst sinkhole where glacial meltwater disappears underground. The selection includes high-altitude 'ibones' like the Ibón Blanco de Literola, situated at 2,692 meters, and dramatic cascades such as the Gorgas de Alba and the Ardonés waterfall near Cerler.

Lac du Portillon

Gorgas de Alba

Series of waterfalls on the Ésera River, accessible via a circular botanical trail through beech and fir forests near the Llanos de Hospital.

Cascada de Gorgutes

Mountain waterfall located on the ascent to the Portillón de Benasque, fed by the drainage of the Gorgutes glacial lake.
