Collioure Essentials
Collioure is defined by its military history and artistic legacy as the cradle of Fauvism. This selection features the 13th-century Château Royal, once the summer residence of the Kings of Majorca, and the 17th-century Église Notre-Dame-des-Anges, notable for its unique bell tower that formerly served as a lighthouse. The list spans from the central Boramar beach to the defensive heights of Fort Saint-Elme and the Madeloc Tower, while also marking the final resting place of Spanish poet Antonio Machado.
