Beautiful Beaches

The Paphos coastline features a diverse range of coastal environments, from the serviced sandy shores of Coral Bay and Laourou Beach to the wild, protected landscape of Lara Beach, a known nesting site for green and loggerhead turtles. Visitors can explore the pebbled expanse of Faros Beach near the archaeological park or take a boat to the crystal-clear waters of the Blue Lagoon in the Akamas Peninsula. Coral Bay

Coral Bay is a popular tourist resort in the Peyia municipality 11 km north of the city of Paphos.

Blue Lagoon

Secluded bay in the Akamas Peninsula characterized by shallow, turquoise waters and a sandy seabed. It is primarily accessible by boat or four-wheel-drive vehicle.

Faros Beach

Located west of the Paphos Archaeological Park, this mixed sand and pebble beach features a coastal boardwalk and sits directly below the city's landmark lighthouse.

Lara Beach

Remote, undeveloped stretch of coastline within the Akamas Peninsula. It serves as a protected breeding ground for loggerhead and green turtles, with seasonal conservation stations monitoring nesting sites.

Sandy Beach

Situated in the Chloraka area, this bay is known for its fine sand and consistent waves, making it a frequent spot for local surfing and bodyboarding.

Laourou Beach

Sheltered sandy bay located at the northern end of the Peyia resort area. It features calm, shallow waters protected by a limestone headland.
