Water Wonders

Fujian’s diverse landscape is defined by its extensive water systems, ranging from the ancient West Lake in Fuzhou, dating back to 282 AD, to the modern engineering of the Gutian and Dongzhang reservoirs. This collection highlights the province's natural and man-made water features, including the deep-water port of Liaoluo Bay on Kinmen Island and the numerous tiered waterfalls of the Qingyun Mountain region, which serve as vital ecological and recreational hubs across the region.

Liaoluo Bay

Deep-water bay on the southeast coast of Kinmen Island. It serves as a major transportation link to Taiwan and features a seaside park with a large Mazu statue.
